With the proliferation of Ai and the rapid spread of disinformation, misinformation, weaponized ideology, and social media, most of Americans have seemingly forgotten the importance of the free press to Democracy, but guess what, it is in the Bill Of Rights of the U.S. Constitution, therefore it is a founding and fundamental principle to protecting the American people from autocratic dictatorial oligarchic communist rule, and if you pay attention, wherever it is not available is not a place you would ever wanna live, and without it, the U.S. is not America
Simply put, the free press is coded in the very deoxyribonucleic acid of the nation and should be valued correctly for the freedom it protects
And the people who dont like it are always the most afraid of it
