Pneumatophorea

There's Red Mangroves, White Mangroves, Buttonwood Mangroves, and Black Mangroves in Miami and the Florida Keys. The Red and White are more prevalent. The last you can tell by the upward rising roots that grow into the air.

They're called Pneumatophores and they help the tree drink air from the ocean and sweat salt from their leaves

You can't really walk on the land they grow in because it's made of ocean and changes terrain every six hours or so with the tides.
