Florida
Salt water wins every time
No bridge or building or concrete or even limestone is ever truly safe from the ravages of ocean plus time
Apparently even rich people are subject to nature
Take a look at Brickell Key
Just a short bike ride over a scenic bridge
They knocked over a Mandarin Oriental on the island and they're building a new one
Those conez
They been up for years — i been seeing them
Brickell Key is pretty nice, but it isn’t asnew as all the new condos
It’s a man-made island anchored to the floor of Biscayne Bay at the mouth of the Miami River and it took one guy a lot of work to get through all the red tape to create it
Nowadays, the whole east coast from Miami to NYC is full of high tower condos on the ocean
Even Deerfield Beach, who'da thought
They better not let the bridge to Brickell Key or else that island built by one guy will be stuck out there by itself
And like Hemingway said, “No man is an island”
And nine outta ten bankers don't wanna kayak to work
For who the bridge conez
